$20,000 Lucky Dollar Bill Game Contest Rules:
All Hall Communications General Contest Rules apply. One winner per household. No purchase necessary. WOKO will execute the Lucky Dollar Bill Contest three times per weekday October 8-November 9, 2012. To be eligible, contestants must a) be a member of the WOKO Country Club, b) find and keep a one dollar bill with a serial number containing a 9, an 8, and another 9 in any order and c) cannot be an employee of TD Bank or a competing radio station. Membership in WOKO’s Country Club is free but an application must be filled out and a card number assigned prior to the contestant playing the game. To play, eligible contestants need to listen to WOKO for the cue-to-call during the 9am, 2pm and 5pm hours weekdays. When the cue-to-call is played, eligible contestants must be the correct caller through on the WOKO studio lines: (802) 862-9890 or (800) 354-9890 to win $100. Odds of winning depend on the number of phone call attempts. Amount of money won during individual game executions depends on whether contestant chooses to risk the $100. and play the random Prize Wheel audio file. If Prize Wheel is chosen they could win a total cash amount of between $100. to $500. or lose all winnings. Any money not given away is determined by the difference between what the contestant wins or loses and the total amount on that executions Prize Wheel audio file. That difference is then added to the Grand Prize amount of at least $1000. awarded to the Grand Prize Winner. By the end of the contest, a total of $17,900. will be given away on-air or otherwise be added to the Grand Prize amount awarded to the Grand Prize Winner.
Under no circumstances should a winner try to collect their cash prize at a TD Bank branch.
All cash prizes will be awarded by WOKO November 17, 2012 starting at 9am at University Mall, 155 Dorset Street, South Burlington, VT. To claim their prize, winners must show ID, WOKO Country Club membership card and the dollar bill with a serial number containing a 9, an 8 and another 9 in any order. All cash winners present will have the exclusive opportunity to win at least an additional $1,000. Grand Prize plus a $500. donation to the 501C3 of choice during the random Grand Prize drawing November 17, 2012 at10am at University Mall. Cash winners must check in at the WOKO registration table between 9am-9:45am and must be present to win. No substitutions or stand-ins allowed. Up to seventy five, cash winners only will be invited, but the odds of winning the grand prize depends on the number of cash winners, and how many cash winners are present at the random grand prize drawing. Cash winners who cannot attend will not be eligible for the additional prize of at least $1,000 plus a $500 donation to their 501C3 of choice, but will have 30 days to claim their on-air cash prize in person at the WOKO studio during regular business hours after November 21, 2012. At the end of the Lucky Dollar Bill Contest Grand Prize Drawing, a total of $20,000 will have been given away, which includes $600. to be given away randomly; divided amongst twelve different cash winning finalists present at the Grand Prize drawing.
