Submitting a PSA
If you would like to submit your Public Service Announcement or Event for inclusion on our on-air and website listing please click here.

Your information MUST be in at least TWO WEEKS before your event for consideration.

Due to the high volume of requests, we do our best to accomodate as many as time & space contraints allow for. All Public Service Announcements are announced in rotation. This is a community service we offer for non-profit organizations only.


Ongoing events

August 6th, 7th, 8th, 24th & 31st- Pendragon Theatre in Saranac Lake is celebrating its 30th summer season with performances of the “Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged.)” For details on this play and others this season, visit www.pendragontheatre.org.

Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th- Neshobe Sportsman Club on Frog Hollow Road in Brandon is holding a Hunter Education Course from 6pm to 9pm on August 13th and from 9am to 4pm on August 28th and 29th. Students must attend all three sessions. There is no enrollment fee. To register, call Tom at 247-6960.

September 1st is the deadline to enter your float, organization or group in the Battle of Plattsburgh Parade, which is Saturday, September 11th at 1pm. The theme this year is “Volunteers in History”. Call Vicki Giroux at 562-4000, ext. 165 or email bopparade@yahoo.com



 


Monday, September 6th

The Underhill-Jericho Fire Department is holding its 55th Annual Chicken Barbecue from 11:30am to 2pm at Browns River Middle School. Half of the proceeds benefit Riley McLaughlin, a six year old who has been diagnosed with a rare syndrome, PHN.

The Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks presents the classical duo from India, Shafaatullah Khan at Ballard Park in Westport at 7pm.


Thursday, September 9th

September 9th is the deadline to apply to the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources for the Special Opportunity Moose Hunt for people under 21 years of age. All applicants must be sponsored by a charitable organization. To learn more, call 241-3695


Saturday, September 11th

CHAMP, Champlain Adaptive Mounted Program, is having a Trail Ride through scenic South Hero. Registration forms for riders are available at www.vtchamp.org


Saturday and Sunday, September 11th & 12th
