“After the town museum was closed and neglected for many years, Terry took over as director and brought it back to life, totally renovating the building and bringing in many new local historical items. She also runs the town’s tool museum. She does all this as a breast cancer survivor.” – Peter Robinson
Teresa’s Outstanding Achievements Include:
- Teaching Social Studies for 14 years at the Folsom School in South Hero, and still regularly fills in as a substitute teacher.
- Taking over as director of the South Hero Bicentennial Museum, bringing the museum back to life and involving her students and community members in the museum, keeping the spirit of South Hero alive.
- Being a Breast Cancer survivor of 20 years.
