As a Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society Joan has led Relay for Life, spearheaded the Real Men Wear Pink of Northern New York initiative, and rallied support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She has played a vital role in programming that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to support cancer patients and research. Joan is also a Sunrise Rotarian and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary through which she helps support veterans and their families by fundraising for the North Country Honor Flight, the American Legion Family’s Child Welfare Fund, and the Clinton County Veterans Assistance Fund. Joan is a true connector, bringing people together and creating opportunities for service and support inspiring others to support their communities.
