Congratulations to our winner, Alisha Miles, one of our Outstanding Women of 2025!

Nominated by: Annette Trayah

“My daughter is one of the most inspiring women I have ever known.  She is a huge advocate for awareness of the devastating consequences of impaired driving and will continue to remind people about her daughter Olivia Miles who was taken from us way too soon.” – Annette Trayah

On May 27th 2023 Alisha and her husband Chad, and their daughter Olivia, were struck by a drunk driver. Tragically the crash took Olivia’s life, she had just turned 6 years old. After her own recovery, Alisha was looking for a way to keep going and keep Olivia’s memory alive, which is when she found MADD – Mother’s Against Drunk Driving. In an effort to create a future of No More Victims, Alisha spreads awareness of the consequences of drunk driving at high schools, the Vermont Police Academy and spoke in Washington, D.C. at the NHTSA Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign launch. Creating the Ride for Olivia and the Olivia Miles Education Fund, Alisha hopes spreading awareness and sharing her story will keep another family from suffering.
