Maureen has dedicated 30 years to EMS, starting as a teen volunteer at Essex Rescue in the early 1990s. She became a paramedic in Florida in 2002, returned to Vermont in 2008 to work with Colchester Rescue, and rejoined Essex Rescue in 2018. As Deputy Executive Director since 2021, she assists in managing one of Vermont’s busiest EMS agencies, handling scheduling, logistics, employee supervision, and planning. Despite administrative duties, Maureen maintains a clinical role, serving on an ambulance. She’s a role model for women in EMS, an advocate for the career field, and has saved countless lives. Maureen is dedicated to her community and helping those in need.
