“Laura organized a group of parents and teachers to create a non-profit preschool in the same place.  She realized that too many families relied on this valuable service. These families did not know what they were going to do without this place.” – Sue Pochop

Laura’s Outstanding Achievements Include: 

• Reopening the St. Michaels College Childcare Center which closed due to COVID as The Early Learning Center, a non-profit child care center in Colchester. The Early Learning Center provides access to high quality childcare and early childhood education to local families. 
• Volunteering as an active member of the JFK Elementary PTO. 
• Working at UVM in Student Conduct. 
• Training and serving as a volunteer Doula at the UVM Medical center.
