Disney+ has announced Taylor Swift‘s concert film Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version will make its streaming debut on March 15, 2024.
The Eras Tour film was shot over the course of Swift’s first three shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where she performed six shows in early August.
The extended version of the concert film, which will be screened exclusively on Disney+, will include the song “cardigan” and four additional acoustic songs not featured in the theatrical or VOD release.
“This week is truly the best kind of chaos. I’m thrilled to let you know I’ve found a streaming home for The Eras Tour Concert Film, and that home will be @disneyplus,” Swift posted on Instagram. “For the first time we’ll be showing the entire concert (including ‘cardigan’, plus 4 additional songs from the acoustic section!!) and I’m calling it, huge shock, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version). Available starting March 15 which is actually very [soon].”
The CEO of Disney, Bob Iger said, “‘The Eras Tour’ has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively on Disney+.”
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour became the top selling concert film of all time, grossing more than $260 million worldwide at the box office. The film, which arrived in October, grossed over $92.8 million in its opening week.
