Hardy has dedicated his latest track, “Six Feet Under (Caleigh’s Song),” to his wife Caleigh.
The song, which reflects Hardy’s love for his wife, is set to feature on Hardy’s upcoming new album, Quit!!, due out on July 12th on CD, LP, and digitally via Big Loud.
Hardy reportedly wrote “Six Feet Under (Caleigh’s Song)” with a “powerful moment” in mind. He and Caleigh got married in October 2022, just a few weeks after his bus accident, and the couple privately exchanged their vows before the wedding ceremony.
While recently teasing the song, Hardy said that it was “an emotional time” and “sharing those vows privately with Caleigh was the single greatest moment of my life.”
Caleigh previously said she “had a full blown meltdown” the first time Hardy, whose full name is Michael Hardy, played the song for her. She said “Six Feet Under (Caleigh’s Song)” “means the absolute world to me. Michael and I cherish that moment on our wedding day more than anything and everything, so to hear those feelings and emotions written in a song is truly an inexplicable feeling.”
Hardy previously released the tracks “Quit!!,” “Rockstar,” “Psycho” and “Jim Bob” from the upcoming 13-track Quitt!! record.
