Back in May, Jelly Roll revealed that he was aiming to run a half-marathon before the year was up. But during a new interview on Taste of Country Nights On Demand With Evan Paul, the country star admits that he is now second-guessing himself on his ambitious goal. “I may have overshot,” Jelly admits. “I was telling somebody, when I say next year I mean next Turkey Day. Like a Thanksgiving half marathon. I woke up and walked two miles this morning and it was brutal. I was like, ‘I gotta put another 11 on that, and jog?!’” Jelly’s ultimate goal is to lose weight and get healthier so he can be there for his family as he gets older. “I just want to feel better,” Jelly shared. The country superstar continues The Beautifully Broken tour throughout the summer, and is set to open Morgan Wallen’s massive show this Thursday (July 25) at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
