Chris Stapleton has postponed three shows of his U.S. tour this week due to bronchitis and laryngitis.
“To all my friends in Corpus Christi, Houston, and Lafayette, I am very sorry to let you all know that I am unable to perform this weekend’s shows,” Stapleton said in a statement on Instagram.
“I have bronchitis and laryngitis, and on doctor’s orders am on vocal rest through the weekend in order to heal,” he added. “I’m grateful for your patience and understanding, and hope to see you all in November.”
The Grammy-winner was set to perform in Corpus Christi, Texas, on October 12; in Houston, Texas, on October 13; and at Lafayette, Louisiana, on October 14.
The shows have been rescheduled to November 16 in Lafayette, November 17 in Houston and November 18 in Corpus Christi.
All tickets for the original dates will be honored for the rescheduled dates.
The All-American Road Show Tour, in support of Stapleton’s studio albums From A Room: Volume 1, From A Room: Volume 2 and Starting Over, is currently scheduled to resume in San Antonio on October 19.
