Country singer-songwriter Chris Young was arrested at a Nashville bar Monday night. Young was charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest.
According to TMZ, Young was at the Tin Roof bar in downtown Nashville at 8:30 p.m. as agents from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission came to inspect IDs and licenses.
Agents checked Young’s identification, with the affidavit stating that the musician then began questioning them before following them next door to the Dawg House.
Young allegedly put his hand out and attempted to stop the officers from leaving when they finished, “stuck” one of the agents in the shoulder, and was yelling and screaming.
Two agents restrained the musician. Young was booked shortly after 10 p.m. Monday and was released in the early morning hours of Tuesday, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.
Young is currently set to drop his latest album, Young Love and Saturday Nights, in March.
