Jelly Roll, who earned his fourth consecutive Country Airplay No. 1 with “Halfway to Hell” last week, has shared a new single, “I Am Not Okay.”

In “I Am Not Okay,” Jelly Roll brings out his emotional pain and struggles with mental health.

“I am not okay / I’m barely gettin’ by / I’m losin’ track of days / And losin’ sleep at night / I am not okay / I’m hangin’ on the rails / So if I say I’m fine / Just know I’ve learned to hide it well,” he sings.

“I know I can’t be the only one/ Who’s holding on for dear life,” he continues. “I’m not okay but it’s all gonna be alright.”

The song serves as a preview to some upcoming new music from Jelly Roll. In an interview with Audacy in April, the singer noted that fans can expect some “crazy” collaborations on the way, including a few non-country collabs.

“I got some features,” he said then. “I [collaborated] with some crazy people in and out of genre. I reached, man. I tell you what, I ain’t got no shame. I’ll shoot my shot.”

Jelly Roll, Taylor Phillips, Ashley Gorley and Casey Brown co-wrote “I Am Not Okay.”
