Maren Morris Sings Tammy Wynette’s ‘D-I-V-O-R-C-E’ On TikTok Amid Split From Ryan Hurd

Maren Morris recently marked her divorce from Ryan Hurd by sharing a video of her singing a line from Tammy Wynette‘s 1968 track “D-I-V-O-R-C-E.”

In the video shared on TikTok, Morris plays the guitar and sings the lyrics, “Our D-I-V-O-R-C-E becomes final today.”

Marris also stitched a clip from a wedding ceremony where the groom told the bride, “I promise to smack that ass every chance I get.” The clip had the words, “I would have been a runaway bride,” written over the top.

Morris filed for a dissolution of marriage from Hurd on October 2 in Tennessee, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The pair began dating in 2015 and tied the knot on March 24, 2018 in Nashville. The couple share a 3-year-old son Hayes Andrew, who was born on March 23, 2020.
