Warner Bros Discovery UK & Ireland are planning to produce a new docuseries based on the feud between pop superstar Taylor Swift and RBMG Records executive Scooter Braun.
The two-episode documentary series, titled “Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood,” delves into the heated feud between Swift and Braun. It explores the $300 million dispute that erupted after Braun acquired the rights to Swift’s first six albums and Swift’s response through her “Taylor’s Version” re-recording projects, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The show will feature legal experts and journalists as well as people close to Swift and Braun.
The docuseries will be the latest instalment in Discovery’s Vs franchise, following “Johnny vs Amber,” “Kim vs Kanye: The Divorce,” and “Vardy vs Rooney: The Wagatha Trial.”
“Taylor Swift’s dispute with Scooter Braun over the ownership of her music exploded into the mainstream, taking contract law from board room to social media and into public interest,” Charlotte Reid, vp of commissioning, networks & streaming at WBD U.K. & Ireland, said in a statement. “It’s a high-profile, high-interest story that opened debate on fandom and dominated headlines, one which will resonate with our viewers.”
