Taylor Swift has extended her record for the most weeks as the top musical act in the United States to 87.
Swift once again topped the Billboard Artist 100 chart dated December 2.
Swift is riding high on the success of her latest re-recorded album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which is currently ranked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
In addition, nine of Swift’s other albums are featured on the current edition of the Billboard 200, and six of her songs appear on the Billboard Hot 100.
1989 (Taylor’s Version) remains at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 137,000 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week that ended on November 23, according to Luminate.
“Cruel Summer,” from Swift’s 2019 album Lover, is ranked second on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart. Five of her other songs, all from 1989 (Taylor’s Version), are featured on Hot 100.
Dolly Parton returned to Billboard Artist 100 at No. 3 with the help of a brilliant performance of her new album Rockstar in its opening week.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay and streaming to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
