Taylor Swift has extended her record for the most weeks as the top musical act in the United States to 85, as she topped the Billboard Artist 100 chart dated November 18.
Swift is riding high on the success of her latest re-recorded album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which is currently ranked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
In addition, nine of Swift’s other albums are featured on the current edition of the Billboard 200.
“Cruel Summer,” from Swift’s 2019 album Lover, also tops the latest Billboard Hot 100. Fifteen other songs, all from 1989 (Taylor’s Version), are featured on Hot 100.
Jung Kook is the second best on the Billboard Artist 100 after making a big leap from No. 100, while the late Jimmy Buffett returns to the Artist 100 at No. 7.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay and streaming to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
