Taylor Swift‘s “Cruel Summer” has reached No. 1 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The song, from Swift’s 2019 studio album Lover, topped the chart dated October 28.
“Cruel Summer” jumped several spots from No. 9 to become Swift’s tenth leader on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. The track previously peaked at No. 3.
Swift had been performing “Cruel Summer” in the opening sets of her current The Eras Tour, which helped boost the song’s popularity in recent weeks.
Also, new versions of the song were released during the October 13-19 tracking week following the wide premiere of the concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
“Cruel Summer” drew 77.8 million radio airplay audience impressions and 18.6 million streams and sold 41,000 downloads, according to Luminate.
The song concurrently also tops the Digital Song Sales chart,
Last month, “Cruel Summer” tied Swift’s own record for the most weeks atop Billboard‘s Pop Airplay Chart.
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
